ABOUT US

We at Cool Springs Southern Methodist Church believe that to live is Christ. This affects everything we do as the church and as individuals. This means multiple things.

For one to live without Christ is to have never lived at all. (Phil. 1:21)

We also believe that to live is to strive to be the perfect reflections of the nature of who Christ is. This includes the fulfillment of Love (1 John 4:8), Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self Control (Galatians 5:22), to which Christ was the ultimate fulfillment of every one of these attributes and as such we strive to be as well.

Finally we believe that to live is to fulfill Christ’s commandments, including the Great Commission. We are to be making disciples, baptizing, and teaching everyone in the commandments of God, in our local community unto the world.

In order to do all of these we must love God with all our heart, mind, and soul. We must also love our neighbor as ourselves. (Matt. 22:37-39)

In order to live and be the people of God it requires us to be bold in every aspect. (Phil. 1:20)

Our mission is to live Christ boldly.
